Nightly rates at The Black Pearl vary based on season, holidays, local events, demand, and length of stay. Current pricing and availability are displayed at the time of booking.

A professional cleaning fee and applicable South Carolina sales and accommodation taxes will be added to all reservations.

Occupancy Limits

• Maximum overnight occupancy: 4 guests
• Maximum daytime occupancy: 10 persons total, including registered guests
• Unauthorized overnight guests are prohibited

Important Property Information

The owner’s personal boat, jet skis, and related equipment are private property and are not included with the rental.

The Black Pearl is intended for quiet residential enjoyment. Parties, events, weddings, large gatherings, and unauthorized celebrations are prohibited without prior written approval.

Additional Fees & Damage Responsibility

The Black Pearl does not collect a traditional security deposit. Instead, your reservation includes protection through our Guest Protection Program powered by Truvi, which helps cover accidental damage during your stay.

This program provides coverage for certain accidental damages, so long as they are reported promptly to the Host during your stay. Damages not reported, as well as those resulting from negligence, misuse, or intentional acts, may still be the financial responsibility of the Guest.

Guests agree to report any accidental damage immediately so we can initiate a claim and ensure a smooth resolution.

Guests may be charged for:

• Property damage
• Missing items
• Excessive cleaning
• Smoking remediation
• Unauthorized pets
• Rule violations
• Damage to outdoor amenities or recreational equipment

• Check-Out: 11:00 AM

Early check-in and late check-out requests are subject to availability and may incur additional fees.

Cancellation Policy

100% of paid prepayments refundable when canceled 14 day(s) before arrival or earlier.

50% of paid prepayments refundable when canceled 7 day(s) before arrival or earlier.

0% refundable if canceled after.

Safety Notice

The Property includes lakefront access, docks, outdoor stairs, retaining walls, hot tub amenities, and recreational equipment which may present inherent risks. Guests assume responsibility for the safe use of all amenities and must supervise children at all times.

A full Rental Agreement and House Rules document will be provided prior to check-in and must be acknowledged before access information is released.
