Whether you're soaking in the custom boulder hot tub, enjoying a morning coffee overlooking the water, spending the day on the lake, or relaxing by the fire pit under the stars, we hope your stay is one you'll never forget.

Your personal Yale Smart Lock access code will become active at 4:00 PM on your arrival date.
Check-out is at 11:00 AM.
Your access code will expire at 11:30 AM on your departure date and will no longer provide access to the property.

The Black Pearl features ample room for boat and trailer parking, making it easy to enjoy everything Lake Bowen has to offer.

• Pull forward completely into the driveway before positioning your trailer.
• Use wide turns when navigating the curved driveway entrance.
• A designated trailer parking area is available next to the owner's boat trailers.
• Back your trailer into the designated area and ensure it is parked safely and securely.
• Complimentary wheel chocks are provided if you forgot yours.
Lake Bowen's public boat access is located at Anchor Park, which is operated and monitored by Spartanburg Water and the Lake Bowen Wardens.
Before launching your boat, please be aware that Lake Bowen requires a Spartanburg Water boat permit in addition to any required South Carolina boat registration.
Guests who do not already have a current annual Lake Bowen boat permit will need to purchase a permit through Spartanburg Water before launching their boat.
We strongly recommend contacting the Lake Bowen Warden's Office prior to your arrival if you plan to bring a boat, as Lake Bowen has unique boating regulations that differ from many public lakes.
• Outboard motors may not exceed 115 horsepower.
• Boats powered by inboard/outboard (stern drive) motors may not exceed 200 horsepower.
• Personal watercraft (jet skis) may not exceed 190 horsepower.
• Direct-drive inboard ski and wakeboard boats are permitted and are not subject to a horsepower limitation.
• V-drive towboats are not permitted on Lake Bowen.
Many modern wake-surf boats manufactured by brands such as Malibu, MasterCraft, Supra, Moomba, Centurion, Tige, and certain Nautique models are V-drive boats and are generally not permitted on Lake Bowen.
If you are unsure whether your boat meets Lake Bowen requirements, please contact the Lake Bowen Warden's Office before your trip.

Guests are welcome to use the private boat slip located at the dock during their stay.
Please ensure all boats are properly secured when not in use and comply with all local boating regulations.
The owner's personal boat and jet skis are not part of the rental and are not available for guest use.
Please do not board, move, enter, or use these watercraft.
